Brooke finds adventure everywhere. Her heartfelt writing and ability to laugh at herself will pull you in. You will be cheering her on as she searches for her lost monks and share her embarrassment as girl friends frantically repair her ripped dress so she can re enter her college’s Christmas ball. Then, in the next paragraph she transforms the laughter and embarrassment into Biblical lessons that make you think and close your eyes in prayer. If you have read and enjoy Bob Goff, you will think, as I do, that she is his female counterpart. I strongly recommend this book. You will see Jesus.

Brooke writes about engaging anecdotes from her own life that illustrate important Christian themes and lessons. Her self-deprecating humor had me laughing out loud through every story. The way she tied her experiences to Jesus and spreading his love on this planet sometimes caught me off guard and brought me to tears. I loved every minute I spent in the pages of her book and can’t wait to see what she publishes next.
